For those that are fans of Black Ops, discuss it here!

I was actually reminiscing about this game with some coworkers of mine yesterday. Still goes down as the greatest Call Of Duty ever made (in my opinion). For me what I really enjoyed about this game was the 60's Cold War/Vietnam War setting. It was on the line between simple (MWR, W@W) and just too crazy (MW3, Blops2). I loved the maps, still love looking back at memories on those maps (as sad as it may sound). The guns were fantastic, still to this day I cant recall a shooter (again in my opinion) that's had a better list of guns. With the majority of my playing time being on the Wii what probably got me hooked at first was that fact that it was the first Wii Call of Duty to have in game voice chat which lead to me spending 16+ days on the Wii version (reaching lv 50 prestige 15) and another 2+ days on the Xbox 360 version enjoying those map packs.

I always loved playing domination, where you had to capture points, and sticks and stones. Since I always used to melee in WAW, and had gotten quite good at it, it was never a problem for me to use the ballistic knives. I loved the campaign for Black Ops as well, and as a massive WAW fan, seeing Reznov again was a real treat! Tomahawking and knifing people in sticks and stones was the best when I had the headset on, and you'd hear them all complaining and tell me to get away from them, when I would relentlessly chase them around the map. Since I usually got into a lobby with Americans, me and whichever other Australian I could find, would go in and pretend we were ultra-hardcore-stereotypical Australians, and talk about my "Kangaroo Farm" which was attacked by Drop Bears overnight! When I was bringing in kill streaks, me and the other Australian would herald them with a drop bear mating call. It was a great way to piss of the Americans playing, that's for sure! cheers dad2

I still play this on my Wii sometimes, I tried to re-start it on my WiiU but it wouldn't download the updates. I have been considering ringing Nintendo for an explanation as they have rendered the game useless on WiiU now.
